Bexley House is looking for a part-time SALES ASSOCIATE (12-20 hours per week) to work both independently and as a valued member of our team.

Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by helping them select products and create an exceptional experience for all customers.
  • Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
  • Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
  • Responds to customers’ questions.
  • Directs customers by escorting them to displays.
  • Provides outstanding customer service.
  • Develops a full understanding of our point of sale system. Accurately processes payments, processing cash, credit and debit cards, and gift cards. Ensuring proper inventory tracking, accurate pricing and discounts. 
  • Packaging purchased items to assist the customer in getting their items home undamaged. As well as gift wrapping services when requested. 
  • Alerts management of potential security issues.
  • Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
  • Learns, follows and helps us improve our current systems, procedures and processes. 
  • General and specific cleaning tasks to ensure that the store stays clean for customers and fellow employees. 
  • Travel between our store location and warehouse location (less than .10 of a mile) will be required.

Work Hours & Benefits: We are currently open Tuesday and Wednesday 10am-4pm, Thursday and Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday 10am-4pm, and Sunday 11a-4pm. This position is specifically for the Saturday and Sunday shifts. We may be able to offer additional hours, if you are also available to work Thursday and/or Friday evenings 2pm-8pm.
